About
Clinical rigor meets elite performance.
Francesco Bonafede works at the intersection of performance, nutrition, and health optimization, with an academic background built across three degrees: sport and exercise sciences, human nutrition sciences, and pharmaceutical sciences and technologies.
That combination shapes how he works. Exercise science provides the foundation in training methodology, biomechanics, and physical performance. His master's in human nutrition sciences covers metabolism, body composition, and evidence-based nutritional strategy, with a particular focus on nutraceutical applications. His background in pharmaceutical sciences adds pharmacology, biochemistry, and an understanding of the biological mechanisms behind active compounds, the part most performance and nutrition professionals do not have.
He holds specialist certification in peptide science, covering peptide biology, cellular signaling, metabolic and mitochondrial pathways, recovery, healthy aging, and the evidence-informed interpretation of peptide research.
Over more than ten years he has coached 150+ clients, building personalized, progressive strategies from a detailed assessment of history, lifestyle, and nutrition, followed by close monitoring and targeted adjustment.

Philosophy
Why the dual approach
Clinical rigor without physical experience produces protocols that look good on paper but never survive contact with a real training week. Physical experience without clinical grounding produces gym-floor wisdom that ignores what your bloodwork is telling you.
Francesco built his practice around holding both. He lives what he prescribes: the same training load, the same recovery protocols, the same biomarker discipline, so every recommendation is stress-tested against a body that trains, not just a spreadsheet.
